scrunchie face

I seriously love this little man... he makes me smile time and time again! How did I ever lived without him? His little smiles and funny faces make my day everyday!

For those of you who may not know or remember, a dear friend of mine and I delivered our miracle babies on the same day! The first cries were pure joy to our ears as both Abigail and Eli had respitory problems early on. Abigail had to stay in the NICU for a little while so this was the first time we were able to get a picture of the two of them together... at 2 weeks old

Yesterday we had a little play date at Starbucks and Belk (yes the babies LOVE coffee or at least we tell ourselves that because Emily and I love it!)

they look like they are going to jump out of the chair and onto us!

despite how it looks, he is not choking her... the charming response would be that he is just holding her back from falling out of the chair but in reality he needed something to help him stand up and she happened to be closer than the arm rest.

The Adventures of Eli

My favorite... he is playing with his shadow

Learning at an early age to put his foot in his mouth

So we realized the hard way that Eli is not to be left alone in his swing, or anywhere for that matter!

Little Surfer

Eli and Dada decided it would be fun to play in the waves... Eli really enjoyed it much more than I thought he would.

So Dada thought he would take him into bigger waves to see how he would react... he really enjoyed it (even though you dont see the smile, the sun was really bright so it was hard to get a good facial expression)!

This was an accident as Dada did not think the wave was that big, however, Eli still had lots of fun!

You can tell by his face that he would rather be playing in the water than having me hold him, but I thought the last wave was a bit big for my little guy!

I did let him get back in the water...but I let him play in the shallow waves for a while first.

Eli's 1st Beach Adventure

This is by far my favorite picture! Eli and Dada were walking to the water for the very first time.

I have come to realize that Eli is very very detailed. He was fascinated by each grain of sand. It reminds me that we are to be in awe of the little things that the Lord has Created.
