patience in waiting

PATIENCE according to dictionary.com is an ability or willingness to suppress restlessness or annoyance when confronted with delay.

there is one area of my life in particular, that i am very passionate about, but i have noticed recently that i am NOT practicing patience (no its not with raising a toddler... although tantrums, direct disobedience, and telling me "no" tests my patience on a daily basis, wait who am i kidding, on a multiple day and even moment by moment basis at times!)

a verse that keeps coming to mind is Habakkuk 2:3

This vision is for a future time.
It describes the end, and it will be fulfilled.
If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently,
for it will surely take place.
It will not be delayed.
